Well folks, the greater depression has officially hit Corpus Christi, and not in a good way for a horndog with a pile of cash oddly enough.

I know Sunday Evening is hardly prime time, but I've never had trouble before and go every month or two. This time was different. I spent several hours wandering CC clubs from 6-9 and it was a complete wash. I think I spent a total of $40 on dances and those out of sheer boredom.

On the Palace specifically, at 6PM they didn't have any dancers at all. Throughout the course of the night they mostly had no dancers on stage. I saw 3-5 dancers seated round the place the entire time, none too attractive some OK, few or no table dances and an apparant willingness to sit for hours in return for a drink or two. I was approached all of once (I'm clean cut and non-descript and usually get lots of "deal flow") in over an hour and she was not what I was looking for.
