Well, I believe someone at Christies read the previous review and took it to heart. I visited this club on Thursday, 10/21/04 and I thought it was great, not a rating 10 great, but still great. There were no "ugly" women (although some were less talanted-one was a first timer and another was there for the fourth time), the wait staff seemed efficient, I never was without a drink for more than a few minutes, and the entertainment staff was friendly, fun, and attentive. Late in the evening a few dancers from another Christies club did show up and passed out free admission tickets to the other club. Some of the details listed here are wrong. The club is not nude, but topless, and yes, they wear those annoying see thru pasties to cover the nipple. Beer is $4.75, a little steep, especially after a $5 cover, not $8 as listed. Full bar is available, not just beer/wine. "Table" dances are $10, no contact. Private dances are $25/song, in a couch area off the main floor. There is a VIP area upstairs where any drink you order costs $10, with a two drink minimum if you go there, and you must buy at least two/hour if you stay after the minimum. There is no other fee, except for the $25/song. I did not sample this area, one of the dancers filled me in on the info. The couch dances are very much contact, at least mine with Rachel were! Your hands are not allowed to roam however, and are restricted to leg and butt contact. This club is certainly a 10 in appearance inside, I was told $4.5 million to construct. There is a large screen TV that displays the dancer high on the wall and can be seen from anywhere in the club. The laser lights are fantastic. I would highly recommend a visit, and I am curious to see other reviews to determine if I happened to hit a "good" night, or if things have improved since that first review.
