Red Room is one of a couple clubs I visit on The Block. As they say, familiarity has its benefits--some of the dancers here are a lot of fun to talk to, getting to know the bartenders is good if you're looking for a deal, and of course, having rapport with some of the girls here can really make your experience worthwhile. My experiences here have for the most part been pretty good, although don't expect to always have a pleasant time. Depending on the time of day, especially daytime, customers aren't usually plentiful. If you're one of the few customers there, be prepared to be approached numerous times by the girls looking to fill their drink quotas. Many of the girls usually tell what a slow day they're having while looking to make money, but some of the girls are a lot of fun to talk to and are worth a drink or two. The club is extremely narrow, which can be an irritant (especially when it's crowded and seating is scarce). Some of the girls put on a good show and are worth the tip you give them, while some aren't as enthusiastic during their sets. Drink prices here are pretty much the same as the rest of the Block clubs, although less expensive than places like Club Pussycat. Rob, the bartender will usually cut you a decent deal if you buy a bottle or larger drink, especially if he's trying to get some business (I've noticed the prices vary during every visit). Daytime usually seems to offer more bang for your buck than the nighttime bartenders. I'd say give this place a visit--if not multiple! The atmosphere is usually pretty welcoming and accommodating, and sometimes it's fun just sit back and watch the action.
