I've had good things to say...

I've had good things to say about Wise Guys in the past, both here and on other forums. Unfortunately, this club appears to have taken a major dive. I recently visited late afternoon on a weekday; the club had been open for hours, and there were several customers spread about, but only one dancer was on the floor (chunky unattractive african-american), and none of the expected ambient effects were yet in play (i.e. no music or low-lighting, etc.). I did notice what appear to be extensive in-progress renovations, with the notorious VIP room seemingly being moved to a more permanent location in the back, so hopefully this bodes well for the club's future. I plan on checking back in a couple of weeks to see if things have improved. This club has treated me right in the past, so I want to give it another chance (if it wasn't for my historical experiences, I would have rated club and dancers at 0, rather than 3). For now though, there is absolutely nothing to recommend a visit.
