I was here on a Tuesday...
I was here on a Tuesday night. Bishop's is basically one long room; it's the smallest club in the area. There isn't even a pool table in it. The dance booths are curtained off areas in the back, like an old-fashioned hospital ward. More than half the dancers were African-Americans., and the rest were Hispanic. Everywhere else in the area the dancers are always Hispanic, the dancers were either good looking, 7+, or bad, 4-, nothing in between, and I haven't seen an Asian dancer yet in Connecticut. The girls were not out for dances and actually didn't seem outgoing at all. It might have been because it was my first time there and they thought I might be LE, but I didn't see anybody else being approached. It didn't seem to me the dance booths were getting a lot of business. The customers were mostly black, and there weren't any white collar types of any ethnicity.
This place doesn't have a lot to recommend it. I didn't get any dances so I can't comment on them, but it didn't look very good from where I sat.
