The Landing Strip is a long...
The Landing Strip is a long time strip club in the metropolitan Detroit area. In the last year a new owner bought it and refurbished it. It is located in a historic old 2 story building in a small town west of Detroit. It's near to the airport so it gets a lot of travelers killing time waiting for a flight. Valet parking is available, but there is plenty of street parking there in downtown Romulus. Walking in you either walk up the stairs or you can take the elevator to the club on the 2nd floor. The club has been refurbished, it still has one long stage(it's been lengthened) in the middle and their is plenty of booths, tables and the ubiquitous bar on one end of the stage. Sightlines are good from everywhere. Drinks are strip club prices, I had a beer for $7.75, even during Happy Hour. The barmaid wasn't busy, but took a fair bit of time to get my drink, never a good thing in my book. The DJ booth used to be upstairs on one end of the VIP area upstair, but now is on the main level. The music was standard strip club rock, the bar is clean and new.
Relatively quickly, a dancer approached me and sat down and gave me the scoop on the dances. Dances are $25 apiece, she hinted about extras so we went downstairs to the newer VIP area, a dungeonlike series of private booths. She's a stunning natural breasted woman, and gave a very nice hands on lap dance. Mutual touching was encouraged with an explanation of extras offered. I passed, but would recommend the club. Sitting at the bar after I watched the revue on stage as the shift change, and there was a nice group of evening shift dancers starting their night. The Landing Strip, IMHO, continues to offer us a good place to go, check it out guys, I liked it.
