It's been a while since I been to the Body Shop. Usually I'll stop by when I am in the Sports Arena or Point Loma area. Was running some errand in that area, decided to stop in and see what's up. Since I have my lifetime VIP card there was not entry fee, although they still have a two drinks minimum. I don't usually expect much when I go to the Body Shop, the talent there, especially during the day isn't that stellar. However there are some diamonds in the rough once in awhile that is why I always check it out when I am in the neighborhood.

Not much have changed since my last visit here. The place still pretty much looks the same from my first visit over 10 years ago. There wasn't that many talent working today. There was a mixture of differenct ethnicity working. White, hispanic, asian, and one African America chic. The thing I like the most about the Body Shop is that, unlike other clubs, they do not cut the songs short. The musice is played by sort of a juke box, which the girl select their songs. There is also not an annoying DJ introducing the girl. For a dive the place is pretty well lit in comparison to the other strip joints in the San Diego area.

During the day the pool tables are free to be played with. I just went to the back racked up the balls and just hung out for a little bit. There were a couple of guys in there, mostly hispanic guys who seems to be off of work and a couple of older guys there sitting at the stage. The girls on stage dances wasn't that inspired at all. They seem to be just going through the motions. They were playing some of the hip hop music for the dancers which suited me just fine. I shot some balls around and was approach by the Asian dancer.

She was okay, on a scale of one to ten, I would have given her a 6 1/2 she ask me my name and why I was there at the club during the day. I told her I was running some errand and wanted to check out the scenery. She asked if I wanted a dance. From my previous experience in this club, it is important to ask the full price of a dance. Most dancer will tell you it is only $20 but when you get into the room they tell you that if you want more contact the dance would cost you more, $20 is just for an air dance. Since I wasn't that into her I just declined.
