Flight Club continues to be unpredictable, at least for afternoon visits. I've made two afternoon visits in the past two months (since my most recent review of FC). In one instance a dancer introduced herself to me saying, "my name is xxx and I don't have a gag reflex." Now that's a promising opening line and much better than "hi, wanna dance?" In both of my recent visits, the crowd was very thin (3-6 customers) and the dancers didn't circulate after their two song set on stage. In general, the talent is pretty good, if you can wait around long enough to discover which dancers are lurking out of sight in the dressing room. If you can find the right dancer, this place has a private VIP area where you can have some fun; I certainly did with the aforementioned dancer. Maybe the evenings are much more lively but the afternoon talent is unpredictable or inaccessible. The club is still worth an occasional visit--- if it is as dead as I've experienced in recent afternoon visits, you can always go across the street to the more reliable, but much less classy Bogart's or drive about 10 miles to the classy, lively and reliable Penthouse.
