My first visit since the remodel....

My first visit since the remodel. I never thought this place needed a remodel but they've done a good job. If there's any reason to try this place now, it's the $1 beer. Yes, it's one a buck for a domestic draft or well drink. I don't know how long this is going to last, but it's here for now. (There's a big sign outside announcing this so when it's gone, I suspect the dollar drinks are gone, too.)

Quite a few girls for a Portland club in the afternoon. Perhaps there were more than usual because it was a Friday. Several dancers approached to chat me up. A couple were very low key; others went straight to the "want a dance" bit. There are two private dance areas. One is along a long wall of the club. Doesn't look very private, but there were at least three dances while I was there and I couldn't see them at all. Also a VIP area that's supposed to be a little more private but still doesn't look particularly private to me. Two or three dancers told me that the dances were $20 for the standard and $40 for the VIP. One dancer quoted me $30 for standard and $50 for VIP.

Apparently, none of the dance are nude. Since I couldn't really see what was going on, I can't explain a "couch" dance, but since the three guys that got dances during the time I was there only got one song dances, I suspect they were somewhat disappointing as described in previous reviews. The dancer who quoted me 50 for a VIP dance said they were "more interactive" but wouldn't elaborate. Nothing gave me the feeling that it was going to be worth it for me to part with such a large amount of money for one DJ shortened song in a not fully private area with a not nude dancer. (For reference, you can get three "full friction" topless dances for $40 at Vegas VIP or a similarly intense single song nude dance at Casa Diablo for $35.)
