Christie's has definitely jumped the shark....

Christie's has definitely jumped the shark. When I walked up to the door, there was a large group of Latino gentlemen outside having a loud argument with one of the bouncers. I went in and witnessed something very odd. A group had come in for a bachelor party and the girl at the counter was marking the groom's hand with a green sharpie. I assumed he wasn't 21, but I believe you have to be 21 to get into topless clubs in NC. They said something about the mark being for a drink maximum. I don't know. Got into the club and immediately noticed it was very dark in there. Christie's has always been a little dark, but tonight you could hardly even see the dancers. After about 15 minutes, I could see why they dimmed the lights. There was one girl who was a 7 (black girl with a juicy booty and a sweet disposition), the rest were 4s and 5s. The only nice thing I can say is that at least there weren't any fat girls, though a couple of them really should have lost more baby weight before they came back to dance.

The club was about 2/3 full when I came in at 11, but by 11:30, it had fallen to less than 25%. There was no one in the VIP sections. That's the first time I've ever been in Christie's on a Saturday and not seen anyone in the VIP. The building is still nice and the club is great on the inside, but it looks like all the better looking girls have either gone to Executive Suite, Gold Club, or left town. Seems like the management really doesn't care about the club any more. Too bad.
