This is my absolute favorite club in Fort Wayne. So keep that in mind when you see my '10' rating. What makes Shangri-La different is the 'vibe' it has. From the moment you walk in the door there is just something about this place that says 'home' to me. The layout is nice. There are booths and tables, depending on your preference, where you can claim your space for the evening. The booths are nice for a relaxing evening with your favorite girl. The tables are the better choice for that blitz of dollar dances, if that's your thing. The VIP area is in the back in a U-shaped arrangement. If you're looking for one-on-one fantasy, go there on a week night. Weekends have too many girls and you won't get your sweety one-on-one for very long. The bottom line: $10 VIP dances, $2 shots of Tequila and $1 drafts on Tuesday nights (which is also Amateur night). The cover is $5 after 6pm (free if you wear your Shangri-la t-shirt). Another great perk is the $5 steak and fries available every night. Go there before 6pm, eat dinner and have a great time! Tip the DJ well and he'll play your favorite songs during those VIP dances or whenever.
