Hadn't been to Blue Moon in years, but three or four months ago I was driving by and realized I had nothing much else to do, so I dropped in to check it out for an hour or two. I've been back several times since -- often enough, actually, that several of the waitresses and dancers now recognize and remember me. There's no cover on Sundays, but at all other times it's $7 to get in. Getting the attention of the waitress for a $6.75 beer is frequently a challenge, and it's $6.75 for a beer once you do. A tip to the waitress makes it an $8 beer, but assures slightly better service from that point on.

There are two large-screen televisions, including one brand new one off the the left of the stage, typically tuned to a Red Sox, Celtics, or Bruins game, or whatever other sports might be on. I've seen the place filled to capacity on a Saturday night, and I've seen it nearly empty at other times. The smallest number of dancers I've seen is 5, and the largest is 12. I've only seen the satellite stage in use once. There's really only one dancer there that I find totally unappealing, but most are probably 6's, 7's or 8's, with one or two that I'd rate as a 9. They do spend too much time in the back, doing I don't know what... and when they're out in the club it can still take some effort to get them to pay attention to you even on a relatively quiet night, but I've found them to be very friendly once they do stop by, and most will talk with you for quite a while before suggesting a dance. The $20 dances are almost entirely air, but some of the girls do put a lot of "tease" into the stripping with some "accidental" contact or by bringing their boobs within an inch or two of your face. Not surprisingly, multiple dances will usually get you a little more with each one, but it's still Massachusetts, so it is very little more. Favorites include Jaylin, Raquel, Peaches, Million, and Elise.

As per an earlier reviewer, use of cell phones is forbidden and they do enforce it. They don't seem to care if you have one with you, but don't take it out of your pocket to make a call or even to check for messages. There are signs posted prominently in the entrance, so there's really no good excuse for someone violating the rule.
