Shotgun Willie's has been a big name club in Denver for many years, but it is running behind the times in my opinion. The dancers are still great looking, but the place hasn't changed in 20+ years. Same layout; same carpet (now really dirty and smelly), same lighting, etc... They really could stand to upgrade a bit. There is no VIP area for private dances, but an area that you can get a semi-private dance. Don't count on any extra fun or touching -- it's wide open and the bouncers will pounce. Not sure why the place is popular because there are much better choices in town. I had a business client that was all geeked up to go there, so what could I say? Anyway, the dancers are good looking and friendly for the most part, but are there to dance and make money. They cut to the chase pretty quick and if you decline a dance they move on. No big deal if that's your thing. If you're looking for laid back and chatting up a girl or two this is not the place. For eye candy or a night out with business clients/friends, then this is a good place. It really depends on what you're looking for. It is pricey, if I recall correctly it was $30/song with no touching. I'm sure you could negotiate a deal for multiple songs -- some girls offered. In summary, it's really not my type of place which explains my average rating.
