Returning home after enjoying several clubs...

Returning home after enjoying several clubs around the nation, I stopped in Players to see what it is currently. There's been some changes physically inside, different bar counter material, the room looks different too, but the sight lines remain good from everywhere. Cover is still $10 at night, the crowd remains the loyal group of regulars. It's a cozy place, Players has catered to it's customers, and we like Players, also The stage is in the center, 2 dancers share it. Players runs a beer special on Saturdays, it's good to get cheaper beer, $4. The DJ plays a good mix of stripper rock. It's clean, being on 8 Mile keeps it's visibility up.

The dancers on a Saturday night don't seem terribly motivated to get dances. I've noticed it before, they appear to be more interested in chatting with their regulars. I did spot one little cutie, eventually we almost walked into each other as I walked around. We talked and headed back into the VIP rooms. The new Detroit law doesn't appear to be being enforced yet. I'd say it was just another political move for the City Council to look good to the voters. I got a few dances from her, the mileage wasn't out of sight, but she gave a good lap dance. I'll return another day to see if some of the dancers I know there are still around. Overall, Players is a good place to go, I've always liked the place.
