I've been going to Hong Kong less and less over the years. The looks of the women haven't gotten any worse lately, but the attitude is less friendly and more rushed than it used to be. I think it's definitely worth the trip if you haven't been there, but it tends to wear you down over time...

Also, you're looking for an experience closer to an American strip club, you might want to go somewhere else. This is primarily a brothel. A trip to the hotel for full service generally runs $60, but you can usually bargain down to $50. Never accept the initial offer! The hotel room is $15 for 30 mins, I think (they just raised the price). These prices are comparable to a trip to the VIP room, which costs around $70. But in VIP, full service not guaranteed (nor very likely).

I usually make a trip about once a month on Friday afternoon, and walk from the border all the way to the club. It takes about 20-25 minutes and is safe (at least while the sun is out). When I leave later in the afternoon, the border wait can be long, say 30-40 minutes, but some days I walk right through. I've tried to figure out how to predict the border wait, but cannot!
