I've made two return visits to...

I've made two return visits to the Parrot over the last few weeks - one time on a weekend night with a feature act, the other on an average mid-week evening. The club couldn't be more different.

The weekend night was crowded (though not as packed as you might expect), the women were hotter and, unless you were in the VIP, you might not have got a whole lotta attention. The feature wasn't particularly sexy but she was funny as hell. The club really goes all out on these special event nights and it seems something's going on every other week. I guess they're making money going through all that extra expense because they keep doing them. They have some kind of battle of the bands thing this weekend.

It was nothing like my mid-week visit. There was a playoff basketball game on and I thought I'd relax, watch the game and maybe get a few dances if I saw the right dancer. One of the good things about the Parrot is that there are a lot of diversions if the talent is so-so. They have several big TVs around the room showing sporting events and some pool tables in the back. On this particular night, there were very few customers and a lot of dancers, so we all got a lot of attention. Frankly I'd rather be left alone than have a half dozen strippers try out their hustle on me for extended periods, but maybe that's just me. And the one I was hoping to get dances from had one of her regulars show up and disappear for the rest of the evening.
