I always enjoy Rick's--for a Manhattan...

I always enjoy Rick's--for a Manhattan club I think the mileage is pretty high (OK--we ARE talking about by Manhattan standards, this isn't the Sundowner...). the food is decent, the girls are generally very pretty and friendly, pressure is fairly low. This time around I actually took the plunge and went for a VIP dance. Yes, it's very pricey, but the girl was incredible (a French-Canadian student, about 22, very smart and a body to die for, so I said what the heck). You go upstairs with the girl and a guy--tip the guy and he'll leave you alone and maybe give you a few extra minutes. There is a second bar and a TV up there, plus small curtained enclosures where the girl will take you. The curtains can go completely shut if the girl wants, so that makes for possibilities at least. Had a very, very (but not GREAT) time (yes, it is still Manhattan). Was it worth it? Probably not, but still, it was really quite fun. If you are in Manhattan, I think this is clearly the best choice.
