The Mitchel Bros club is a unique place worth a visit at least once. It has been running for more than 40 years now and it's really a San Francisco institution. It is located in the Tenderloin section of the city, a few minutes away from Union Square, easily accessible by taxi, bus or just walking from the downtown hotel area. The cover is quite high, $20 until 7 pm, $40 after, but you should check their website or local newspapers since they publish coupons periodically. I went there on a Friday night after 11 pm, there were approximately 100 customers, 90% men of all ages, 10% female who were particularly beautiful and young, probably performers on a day off. The place is quite big, with different rooms for different types of shows. The continuous strip show takes place in a large stage where all dancers take rounds of two songs each, one topless, one nude, while customers tip them with $1 bills. Most dancers that night were amazingly beautiful, in the 8 - 10 range, very tall with great bodies, lots of curves and large natural breasts, mostly white and a few asian women, a great mix difficult to find these days in other strip clubs. During their stage dances, girls get very close to customers and once they finish their two songs usually they ask you if you want to have a more intimate lap dance in a different area of the club. Here is where it gets complicated. The club "rents" different types of spaces and times to customers, ranging from $20 for 5 minutes in a cabana to $100 for 15 minutes in a small lounge. If you get a lap dance in the open lounge area, similar to what you find in more standard strip clubs,then you need to buy a $15 chip per dance. All this money is for the club. The dancers will receive a "tip" for the specific service you request, so this is open for negotiation, but again it starts with a suggested "tip" of $15 for a one-song bikini lap dance, $30 topless and $45 nude. In short, girls are great but having a good time with them will cost you tons of money. Of course there is an ATM in place to help you balance your budget if you meet the girl of your dreams in the club. You can stick to the main strip show and just spend a few dollars per dancer, but if that's the type of experience you are looking for, then there are cheaper clubs where to go. The club also has a girl-girl show where you can get very close to the action and periodically they program special shows with interactive participation from the audience, which are a lot of fun. The whole club is very elegant, spacious, very clean and well maintained. In summary, go there at least once to get to know a very special place and some of the most beautiful women in the business, and bring enough money to have a great night to remember if you get in the mood.
