My best friend from work and I were in Baton Rouge for a conference so we went to Gold Club to see what we could see. I agree with the other reviews that say the club itself is pretty rundown. Not like a Las Vegas or Manhattan club with the higher class fee. The dancers were pretty nice, and I liked that they didn't do too much of the "wanna dance?" routine. My friend tried the upstairs VIP room with a tall blonde who acted really interested when she was talking to him by the bar but was very much an "air dance specialist" when they got up here. I think he paid 100 for 20 minutes. He said it wasn't worth it. We left after an hour or so.
