Cheetahs is not one of my...

Cheetahs is not one of my favorite clubs in the Lansing area, however the buzz around town is that Cheetahs hired a new manager and they are trying to improve their image. So I decided to drop by for a drink on a Friday afternoon.

It does appear they have cleaned house. Literally. The have cleaned up the joint a bit and the word is they fired all of the old dancers and hired in some fresh new faces. From what I saw, they still do not compare favorably with the other Lansing clubs, but the dancers maybe were a little less skanky than in the past. Another problem was this club's clientele. Too much of a thug factor. The manager is trying to make all feel welcome. It was better, but it was early when I visited.

The girls still seem disinterested. They would rather sit at the bar and get drunk rather than hustle for dances. This hasn't changed. So I after one beer, I left for another club. Since the manager is trying to change Cheetah's poor rep (he may remodel the place), it will be interesting to return in a few months and see how it is going. But at this point, Deja Vu and Omar's are better options when in Lansing.
