Sapphires is probably my go to club in Vegas because it's easy to get to if you're staying on the strip, it's on a busy street, and the parking lot is huge and well lit, which is important. I've never felt unsafe walking from the parking lot to the club. I'm not a local, but I do have a NV driver's license which gets me in for free. The $30 cover is mostly used to pay out the cabbies, I think this club pays $30-$50 per head a cabbie brings in. The club is nice and fairly new, and because of its massive size, you can always find a seat which is something you can't get at Rhino. I sat by the elevated bar area, this was on a Wednesday, about 60 girls at around 9pm and maybe 40 guys. Mid-week are usually a buyers market in Vegas and the girls get really aggressive. I didn't partake on any dances, but it was still fun and better than hanging out at the hotel.
