Stepping into the club is like stepping back in time. The décor, the layout, the plumbing and the dancers all seem to date from 30 years ago, and the age shows. With a strong imagination you can see this as it once was, a roadhouse in the late 70’s early 80’s. Once you get past the physical structure of the room, a barn like place with a U shaped bar and raised stage, you will notice the dancers. Brazilian and Russian, most with poor English skills, and overweight. I once spotted a reasonably cute Russian who spoke English but I wouldn’t count on it again. Jukebox seems to date from the roadhouse era with soft 70’s disco and working class country (Merle Haggard, not Garth Brooks). As you might expect the place is usually empty. I was the only person there on my last vist. Before that it has averaged 1-2 other customers. Girls hang out in the entrance smoking. Street parking is easy and probably safe.
