It’s about time I reviewed my favorite club. Bombshells is a sleazy dive in a nice neighborhood. If you forget your money, there’s a bank next door, and another bank next to that one. The décor looks like it took about four hours to convert a warehouse into a strip club. The chairs and benches are cheap and uncomfortable, and if you value your ears, stay away from the speakers. The stage is a long two-dancer stage in the middle of the club. There is a couch that is supposed to be the VIP area. To the dancers’ credit, none of them recommend it. No privacy can be had anywhere in the room, but since we’re all there for the same thing, I don’t care.

Beer and dances are cheap, so it’s easy to be a sport. What makes this place my favorite is that, at any given time, there are eight to twelve dancers working. They don’t hire a particular type, so you’ll find any size, shape or color that you want. Mileage seems to vary based more on who’s bouncing than who’s dancing. After the dancers began to recognize me, the performances became very good.

Since Bombshells is in a good shopping area, it’s easy to slip in a visit while running errands. If you’re in Phoenix, you really need to give this place a try.
