Penthouse is the biggest competitor to Delilah's in Philadelphia. Both cater to a more upscale cliente and you will frequently see business travelers in the crowd. The club is relatively new, having opened last year. It is clean, very professional and the staff are about the friendiest you'll meet at a strip club. The security guards will warmly strike up a conversation with you and I even had a lengthy chat with the general manager once. Most of the bartenders are very cute, many even more so than the dancers, and they too are quite friendly. The establishment is about the cleanest you'll see. One of the unique things about Penthouse is that they have these cool contraptions on stage, like a couple of motorcycles with girls that are lowered from the ceiling and a big martini glass with a dancer in it raised from the floor. Alcohol and food tend to be on the pricier side, but in line with other upscale clubs. Biggest negative of the club is its location, out in an industrial area about 10 minutes outside downtown Philadelphia.

The dancers are hot. They have higher standards than Delilahs....I've talked to girls at Delilahs that said they were turned down by Penthouse. Personally I think they are a notch above Delilah's in looks. Girls are also quite welcoming. They will greet you, strike up a conversation, then ask if you'd like a lapdance. Some will ask for tips just for hanging out with you and others will simply walk up to you, open their bra strap and demand dollar bills. I've only had a couple negative experiences with the girls there. Once a dancer sat next to me and my friend while we were having dinner....we chatted for a bit, then when I turned down her request for a lapdance, she got angry. Dances are $20 a pop.

All in all, the best strip club in Philly. I would definitely recommend it to a friend if you can drive up there.
