This review is dating back to an April 10 visit... I've been to Sugar's many times in the past, always was a great experience in a decent club. After taking a break from Sugar's for a while, and seeing the advertisements for $2.00 drinks, I HAD to come back. It's had some renovations since I last visited. It looks like they've upgraded the upholstery in their VIP area, changed the carpet but, it still has the same basic layout with an upper bar area with a few tables, dance booths, and a stage that is rarely used, this area is typically filled with guys and dancers drinking and shooting the shit as opposed to trying to hustle the few customers for work or dances. On the main level there is also a secondary stage which is used when it starts to pick up and the main stage, off to the right are a set of booths which are an extra cost and up the stairs to the right is the VIP section.

I came in right before the shift change as to take advantage of all the talent the club had to offer. The day girls left much to be desired mostly older with phenominal bodies but, looked bored and always meandered on stage halfway through their first song. Most of the dancers were more preoccupied with a few select VIP customers than they were the rest of the customers, who never seemed to stay long due to lack of attention from the staff... waitresses AND dancers.. I was dissapointed and about to leave when I was finally approached by a beautiful, young,sexy and smiling, blonde, girl next door type dancer named Holly. She wasn't pushy, even though she could have been and was the only girl who seemed to care about anybody who wasn't sitting in VIP. But, after a few drinks I got several dances. The dances were sexy, entertaining and we laughed a lot but, they wern't as high mileage as I would like but, I didn't mind because I had a great time.

I waited during the painfully long "mid shift" time where the day girls leave and the night girls are getting ready. This was made less painful and fairly amazing by $2 drinks and shots. When the night girls started to come on the main stage I was extremely dissapointed. The dancer quality has gone down the tubes. What used to be a nice mix of all different types, sizes and, shapes of girls has transformed into a bunch of ghetto trash wearing body glitter and shaking crack head ass to awful hip hop with a few of the original rock and roll sexy sweeties trying to maintain their ground. I kept holding out to find at least one sexy woman but, alas I had no luck. I began to feel extremely out of place seeing as the clientele had changed to more of an urban crowd who seemed to be there more for the cheap drinks than the women around them.
