I had not been to Cricket's...

I had not been to Cricket's for a long while and so when I found myself driving through the area decided to stop in. There is still a problem with on-street parking spaces since everyone is parking on the streets in neighborhood. But found a place not too far away.

The place was jumping pretty well when I arrive and was lucky to get a set at the bar for my first drink. Most of the ladies were of the college age variety with only a couple of real standouts. They were in high demand for what I thought was a bachelor party that was ring side.

The thing I could never understand about this place is that the dancers seem to be on stage as long as they want with no real set number of songs. I counted one dancer that was on stage for 11 songs. Granted she was hot and the guys enjoyed the show by the amount of $1 that were in her guarder, but when she came off stage she did not even try to get some lap dances. Simply hung out at the bar talking to the staff.

The place had a high energy level with the number of ladies that were there. When I tried to engage one in a little conversation, I guess because I have been out of college for more then a couple of years I seemed to not be worth talking to for more then a minute.

If you want to sit at the stage and throw some ones at lovely women then it was the place to be (that night). I guess I'll have to stop by on a weeknight to see what the difference is.
