Was looking forward to visiting Carnaval...

Was looking forward to visiting Carnaval on a recent business trip to Portland. Upon my arrival, I was surprised to find that they had moved out of their old space (where I have found memories of great private sessions), and into bigger digs upstairs.

As often is the case, bigger is not always better. The space itself feels too big, and has lost it's intimacy. As with anyone else reading this review, I go for the girls, not for the interior design, so all could have been saved if the same girls who used to work at the old Carnaval where dancing at the new place...no such luck. 5 to 6 dancers, nothing better than a 3. Most looked like they were on meth...one girl was so drunk she had to get help off the stage.

Maybe I got it on a bad night, but I won't be back and will be looking for a new place next time I'm in town.
