In spite of all the warnings...

In spite of all the warnings posted here about Market Street Cinema (MSC), I visited the club about 12:30 pm, on 9/24 to check out a feature performer named Kayla Cupcakes. In short, I've been to quite a few clubs in many parts of the county, and this place is easily the worst club I've visited. First of all, be aware that they will not take the admission coupon from Deja Vu. This club is listed on Deja Vu's web site as one of their clubs, so naturally I assumed they would take the Deja Vu free admission coupon from their web site. No so! They very rudely made it clear they take no coupons. I should have walked away, but I paid the $20 admission fee and entered.

I was trying to walk to the main stage to watch the feature, who was on stage at the time, when three girls decended on me like vultures. Two of them were about 5-6. One was very fat and definitely in the wrong business. Two grabbed my arms, one grabbed my crotch, and they tried to lead me to the back "private" area where another $10 admission fee is required. They promised they would do anything I wanted for $ each. I told them I wanted to watch the stage show first. They ignored that and kept up the pressure. With considerable difficulty, I got away from them and sat next to the stage to watch the feature. The feature was doing a fairly good stage show, but nothing special. After only a couple minutes, two more unattractive girls came right up next to the stage and started the same pressure routine. The fact that a feature performer was on stage did not stop these girls at all. They just kept up their high pressure rip-off routine. I ignored them and they eventually went away. But less than two minutes later, another girl walked up, started rubbing my crotch with her leg, and started pressuring me to go the private area with her. She was a bit better looking, about a 7, but her attitude was terrible. I gave up on this place, chastised myself for going after all the warnings on this site, and left.

Don't let a feature or anything else tempt you into going to MSC. The whole scene here is get you to the back rooms and separate you from a lot of money as quickly as possible. The best looking girl in the place was a 7. Most were 4-5, and some should definitely not be putting themselves on display. The place is also not clean - looks like a good place to catch a disease. The only reason I rated it a 2 instead of a 1 is that there could be a worse place somewhere - but it's unlikely. Spend your time and money elsewhere.
