I think the name of this place has changed, I'm not sure what it is called but it's not Club Maxim. Anyways. This was an interesting experience. No cover charge, one drink minimum and that drink was pretty well priced.

Club: I was waiting to meet up with a friend so I stopped by this place. Most strip clubs that I have been too had felt like strip clubs that just happened to have bars attached. This place felt like a local bar that just happened to have a stripper pole in the back. I showed up around noon so most of the patrons were eating, most paying more attention to the food then the dancer on stage. Most of the dancers were sitting down with the customers which leads me to believe that this is probably a locals bar as there was a lot of one on one conversations with girls and guys. In my opinion the bar takes up WAY to much of the club, it just felt entirely to small, more uncomfortable than intimate. Some people might call it 'personal' but, maybe not what I am looking for in a club. I ate right before so I didn't sample the food, might be a good reason to stop by and try again.

Clients: The people here seemed.... uh, truck driverish. This is probably the whitest SC that I've been to. I'm not saying that that is good or bad, just interesting as all clubs have their own 'feel' and demographic. They played more country music than anything else which fit the mood of the club. No metal detectors and I didn't feel like I was going to get jumped by anyone, that's a plus.
