Good grief, talk about inconsistent results between visits. Went back to this club again last weekend, but this time by myself, rather than with the wife. Could not even get a girl to *look* at me when she came off the stage, even when I asked about a dance while stage tipping. I'd taken all the usual steps before coming to the club, showering, shaving, teeth brushing, deodorant, mouthwash, etc, so I don't *think* it was because I stunk. :) The fact that I'm an old fat guy usually doesn't stop them from taking my money. And while the place wasn't dead, I didn't think it was so busy that they'd want to pass up a couple of easy dances. I guess I was wrong. I was obviously giving off *some* vibe that kept them away.
Maybe it was the fact that I wasn't interested in buying drinks, just dances, that did it. The dancers seemed to be clustering at tables where there were multiple customers, and lots of drinks. I suppose I can understand the desire to just sit and drink, and make money, as opposed to actually working a dance to make some.
Other than that, I can't for the life of me figure out what it was.
