Aahhh... another satisfying visit to the Blockist's current favorite venue. The poor economy seems to be ignoring the Red Room, business appears brisk, and happy days never really left. It seems that if you keep product quality high and maintain a positive attitude, customers (and financial success) will beat a path to your door. Whatever...
Maybe it's MY positive attitude, but this is one great bar! I always feel welcomed, the entertainment staff seems [almost] always polite, and there seems to be a sense of team spirit. The daytime bartender, on a bad day, occasionally will conduct what appears to be a pep rally - urging the girls to "keep a good attitude", "we're not here for just today's quick buck", "if we treat the customers well they'll be back again soon", etc. As I stroll through the neighborhood, I notice that even on a bad day the Red Room seems to have a bigger crowd, more smiling faces on both sides of the handshake, and an overall healthier atmosphere than its competition. What could be wrong with a business model like this?
