I visited Mons Venus last evening...

I visited Mons Venus last evening for the first time in three years and it seems to be as good as ever if not better. Others have noted its small size and lack of parking. I find it to be a good size; it was crowded last night (a Wednesday) but I found a variety of places to sit while I surveyed and enjoyed the sights. The parking these days is improved at least at night because the business to the south is not in operation during late hours (if at all) and there’s thus a long row of parking available right next door. The parking lots are well lit and I had no concern for my luxury sports car.

The atmosphere: the small size makes it a bit more intimate than the large “Gold Club-type” places. The entry area was low-key but clean and the cover is still $20. The music is a bit loud for talking but that forces the girls to come close and talk into your ear; not a bad consequence. The patrons were respectable and I saw no “bikers” or other rough element. The drink hostess asked a couple times if I wanted a (non-alcoholic) drink but I just had to say, “No, thanks,” and it was OK. The lap dance area was on the perimeter of the room and I have no problem with others seeing me get a lap dance. I’m just focusing on the dance and completely lose track of others.
