I stopped at the show Palace on a Thursday night about three weeks ago. I arrived at 9:30 PM, a little before is the $25 cover charge starts at 10 o'clock. I skipped the valet and parked in the back myself – the guy still want to charge me $5 because I parked against the fence! Although I missed the cover charge, you still have to pay a seven dollar bar charge at the door – which gets you a ticket for ice for your beer or maybe a bottle of water. The girls at the bar don’t care about the ticket, so you have to go get the ice yourself. After ten, you pay the $25 out front and pay the $7 to the bar girls, so they come to you.

The place was nearly empty of customers when I arrived, but kept filling as it got later. At 9:30 there were more dancers than guys in the room, but most the girls were not all that great to look at – either too skinny or too heavy. But after the crowd started to pick up, around midnight, better looking girls started to arrive. Girls dance one song in their clothes or stripping out of them on the main stage, then a second song nude. When the place fills up, they rotate off the main to the back stage – kind of a thigh high walkway with three wide spots for the girls to dance on. Most of them just stay naked while they dance on the back. I had been watching the back stage – the girls get more interested in lining up lap dances near the end of their set and provide a lot more contact at the back stage.
