Club Caberet is listed as Creve...

Club Caberet is listed as Creve Coeur which is just across the river from Peoria, IL. A few years ago I heard some really great things about Club Caberet so after some business in Peoria I decided to stop by and check it out. My friend told me they served good meals so I went in time for lunch. Parking was ample, the staff were friendly, and for the first few minutes I thought maybe I found a winner. The menu was OK as was the food, but prices are high. Apparently this establishment tries to be a 'fancy gentlemen's club' with lots of extras - all for a price. The 'extras' are not about the dancers which were OK for an afternoon shift. I was one of the few customers after lunch so the selection of dancers was good but the choices were at best just OK by comparison to other upscale clubs. Generally the ladies were a bit on the 'older' side. Maybe the younger ones worked the evenings.The few that came over and talked with me were rather pushy. I did try one LD with a well endowed blonde, I'm guessing in her 20's about a 6-7 in appearance, who promised I would not be disappointed. Well there isn't privacy as the couch was in the same big room and after two songs I was a bit more than disappointed. All she did was talk and talk and talk... The extras include a shuttle service from Peoria area motels for a modest fee, shoe shines, cigar room (I don't smoke), meals, etc. Maybe the evening shifts offer more than the afternoon but I was not interested in staying...nor will I be back until I hear things have improved. Maybe this club was the place to be a few years ago but based on my experience I suggest if you're in the Peoria area you pass up Club Caberet.
