I hate to say it, but...

I hate to say it, but after much anticipation of visiting the Spearmint Rhino, I left after only 15 minutes. I know other guys like it, so it may just be me, but here's why I left:

* Dark interior: The club is nicely appointed, but way dark with disco-ball type rotating lights. This made it hard to really see and enjoy the girls dancing on stage.

* Aggressive dancers: There must've been 50+ dancers there, and I no sooner sat at the stage than they descended like mosquitoes, one after the next, aggressively pushing for table/VIP dances. I politely said I'd just gotten there, wanted to relax and survey the scene for a bit, but got the indignant huff as each stalked off.

* Most of the girls, while beautiful, were overly made-up and surgically enhanced, with the attitude to match. I know this is Vegas, with all its glitter and illusion, but it all felt too mechanical. Nothing's better than a simply attractive, natural woman with a sweet personality who musters a little authentic energy to get to know each other a bit.
