Bogie's is Bogie's. It's a blue collar dive so it fits me perfect. It's also my favorite cigar bar, that is until May 1st. They always charge a cover. If you ask for a card on your way out (and ask for a couple extra for your buddies), you can get free cover on your next visit within a week. They usually write the date on the card but they won't turn you way if it's expired.

Last time I was in, they weren't giving those cards, rather they were handing out 2-4-1 lapper cards. Buy a dance, get the second free except on $10 Tuesday. Again, don't be afraid to ask for a couple cards, I got three when I did.

Tuesday is a good value day, $10 lappers but the extras drop off. I like going on Wednesday afternoon. It's pretty slow and they do more specials. If the VIP is empty, they'll quite often give free admission to it (normally a one time $10 wrist band). They also run doubles for $13, not bad considering a highball runs $10 for call drinks. I sometimes can press the bartenders for the special. The food is good to very good. I typically go for the lunch special and have desert in the VIP.
