I mentioned I was going to a couple strip clubs in Lawrence in April and an online friend suggested I go to the Tropicana instead. I decided I'd check it out prior to guys weekend out. I went on a Wednesday night

Let me start with YMMV (for instance the service I got on a Wednesday night when there were only 8-10 customers maximum at any given time might be better than what you get on a busy Friday or Saturday and/or I purchased several shots for the ladies that may have affected the level of service I received.)

No cover charge (on Wednesday night, not sure about Fri/Sat). There were 6-8 girls, one stage. $10 no-touch lap dances on the floor. For the month of March $5 wristband to get in the VIP area (Regular $10). $20 a full contact lap dance in the VIP Area - a dark room with 4 loveseats with curtains and seemingly no surveillance. The bar had some old photos hanging up behind it and the bartender told me the place had been open since the 1950s.
