Had to run an errand in...

Had to run an errand in Kansas City so I decided I would visit a club and, since I had never been to Diamond Joe's, I decided it was as good a place as any. Had heard that the girls were really hot here and was in the mood to check it out so off I went. Place really isn't too hard to find if you know where you are going before you leave but it is a little off the beaten track. Really aren't any other clubs north of river in KC and this one is tucked into a largely residential area on a fairly busy street with the typical mix of convenience stores, pawn shops, etc. Certainly not in the best part of town but not scary either.

Not sure what I expected but I guess I expected a little bit more from the physical club itself. Not exactly a dive but nothing special. Pretty good size with a bar on your left as you enter and the S-shaped stage immediately to your right. There are various nooks and crannies around the perimeter of the club. One at the rear seems to be the place for the lap dances as I saw a few couples head back there. There is also a semi-enclosed area on the right hand side but not sure if it has any special significance. Didn't really see anyone there except the waitress taking a quick breather. There is also a pool table and one of the dancers was playing topless pool with one of the customers at one point. Otherwise there is seating all around the stage as well as a fair number of tables on the left hand side of the club. No cover when I arrived about 4:30 in the afternoon and was charged a (fair) price of $3.75 for a Budweiser. Waitress, bartender, bouncer and a female DJ tucked away in a room in the back represented the staff. Waitress was nice but definitely not hot.

As for the dancers, they were a mixed lot but pretty good for an afternoon shift. Probably about 10 girls, half of whom were "doable" and a couple of which were really hot. One brunette in particularly really caught my eye but I never caught her name. Gorgeous face and eyes, large breasts with pierced nipples and just very sexy. Tipped her a couple of dollars on stage and she was quite friendly. Shoved my face into her boobs and rubbed herself against me for a few seconds. Sadly, she never came around and never came on stage again. Only other time I saw her was when she was playing pool. Another blonde girl with a great body but with a tattoo covering her entire back was probably the best of the rest. Three or four of the dancers did come around but none of them seemed worth spending any dollars on. The better ones never did. Left after a couple of beers and a full rotation of the dancers without really spending much cash. Didn't feel like investing any more time or money in the place or drinking anymore when I had a pretty fair drive home ahead of me. Would be curious about visiting in the evening sometime as I suspect that is when they real hotties come out but don't know that I would make a special trip up here again otherwise. Not a bad club but just not worth any special effort.
