Me and a buddy went to...

Me and a buddy went to Baby Dolls (Dallas) on a Friday for Happy Hour. First thing we noticed was the complimentary valet and 1$ cover charge during the day... talk about low initial costs! Upon entering the club, you'll see the main stage up front, and several (6?) smaller stages all around the seating areas. Once the main girl off the big stage is finished, she goes on to one of the mini-stages for the next song, and the girl that was at the mini stage moves on to the next mini stage... and so on and so forth. So they kind of have a rotation, so to speak. Low lighting, VIP upstairs, large bar behind the seating area, and super-clean bathrooms with a constant attendant (also working for tips) round out the rest of the club.

The daytime hour we showed up was pretty dry, several dancers here and there and even fewer clients. We were talked up fairly often early during our visit for dances, drinks, etc. But as the visit went on and the place got more crowded, obviously the "service" suffered a bit. Mixed drinks were ~7$, and the waitresses were almost "money hungry" quick on the refills. Something worth mentioning, the drinks were a little inconsistent. We'd have a round of weak drinks and then a super strong round following it. However, the bar service was quick and efficient, never had to wait for a drink to be served.

The dancers were decent and varied. Once off the stage, they remember who tipped them the $1's and come chat it up. I'm super picky and accept nothing but 9.5's-10's, but even then I was able to find 2-3 that I'd have definitely gotten a dance from. Unfortunately those same 2-3 didn't show up until later and then they were being solicited by just about the entire club, so no dice there. I wouldn't leave without a dance, though, and got one from a petite blonde. The areas for a standard LD are behind the main stage (with security-like one way mirrors) and upstairs seating. There was VIP as well, but did not get a chance to try them. Privacy for a non-VIP dance was mediocre, with not much more than high back chairs and a dark corner.
