Don't believe those reviews saying this is a great place. I believe they are very misleading. Yes, the Playhouse is perfect to get drunk, since it is BYOB, you can have 12 beers for a fraction of what it will cost you in a club or gogo. The problem is that most "girls" working in this place are too ugly, fat or old (many are well into their forties!)that it is quite difficult to keep watching them for too long, it is not a pleasant sight. They compensate by being extremely nice and hands-on, they don't harrass you for a dance and don't ask you for tips every 5 seconds like in other bars. But in the end they should not be working as go go dancers,they don't take care of their bodies and it is pretty sad to see them trying to be sexy when they have lost all their beauty long time ago. I like sexy dancers in their twenties with beautiful bodies and sexy smiles, if they know how to dance even better. That's the whole point of going to a club or go go bars. Youth and beauty is the name of game, that's what men like in Japan, Russia, Brazil and of course the US. We really need a reality check with this club. Men are willing to pay lots of money to enjoy the company of beautiful women, that's our nature. I am sure these ladies offer very generous dances, as you can imagine I did not stay too long to try them. But you need to be desperate or really drunk to get excited by one of them. To be fair, there were a couple of acceptable "girls", say a couple of 6s, all others were 2-3s, so the chances you may have a good time in this place are quite low. The entrance fee of $15 is quite high considering the quality of the show, but you will recover it easily if you have 3 or more beers of your own. The place is quite small,the bar takes basically all the space, with a stage in the center with two dancers at a time. They run a pretty good website, unfortunately their dancers don't look at all like the models in it. I hope this review helps to promote clubs that really make an effort to create a fantasy land where only dreamy sexy women live, that's what their clients are looking for. The Playhouse is far to be a model club,let's raise the bar a little bit, this club is really overrated.
