To start off, i'd like to mention that if you do decide to go across the border into mexico be sure to bring at least 3 friends with you (and your passports). And also make sure at least one of you speaks decent spanish. This will help you out a lot with the locals who act like they dont speak/understand english (but most of them do).

I've been to all of the strip clubs down in Tijuana multiple times over the past 15 years. And I have to say that Hong Kong is by far the best. From the moment you start to walk down the street to try to get to Hong Kong, you'll probably feel a bit uneasy. This street can make even the bravest guys nervous. As you walk down the street all you see are hookers (and a couple pimps) lining the sidewalks of both sides of the street. Around 60-80 of them is a close guesstimate. When you walk by them they tug on your shirt and wont let go. They also do things like take your hat (if your wearing one) to get you to come back to them. Its understandable since there trying to make that money too. If you want to avoid all of this hassle with the hookers, then your best bet is to walk down the center of this tiny, one lane street.

Ok, so you made it past all the hookers and you finally made it to Hong Kong. At the door they usually charge you something like $5 to get in and they also give you a beer. I say something like $5 because I dont quite remember how much it is. I've been down there so many times that they know me pretty well and just let me in for free. But i'm pretty sure its $5. Once you walk in it looks pretty much like every other strip club down there. Not as clean as most of the strip clubs back in San Diego, but pretty clean for mexico. The place gets packed with customers from 10 pm - 4 am. Most of the time there's no place to sit so you either need to get there early, or just hope you get lucky and find a seat. The music is really loud in there. But I see this as a good thing. That makes it a lot easier to avoid having to talk to the strippers. Beers are $3 and you can negotiate the price of the lap dances. They will tell you $20 a dance. Come back with a counter offer of 3 for $35. Or even 5 for $60. They almost always agree if you haggle enough. You need to remember that all they want is you money. So the longer they sit around doing nothing, the less money they make & the less money the club makes.
