From recent reviews, I wasn't sure what to expect from this place. Over hyped? Inflated reviews by a few regulars? Bad reviews from reviewers loyal to other local clubs? I can say that it was...okay.
Arrived around 6PM, the last hour of happy hour. No one working the door, so I walked straight in and got a beer ($3 happy hour, $4.75 after) at the bar. Only four dancers and about a half dozen customers, most of whom were lurking against the wall near the one operating stage. (One dancer later told me that it had been so slow that afternoon that several dancers had gone home.) Not a badly decorated place, but on the small side. Bar in the middle, two small stages in the back, and a couch room. The couch room is weird: there's a half wall so you can look directly into it from the bar and other parts of the club; narrow room with couches facing each other.
Had a girl bugging me for a dance before I had even gotten my beer, something I really dislike when checking out a new place. Waved her off and went to the stage for some tipping. Saw the same four-girl rotation twice before any other dancers showed up. And when one would leave the stage, she would immediately be at my side soliciting dances. Had one latina give me a hard sell, including a rather painful package grab. The girls are nice looking, but most of the day/early evening shift seemed to be older, 30-ish, not what I expected from other reviews. Except for one brunette, who I was interested in until she dropped her top, I didn't see any bolt ons. The evening bartender was the hottest girl in the place.
