Recently on a business trip to Phoenix and stopped back into the BSC. Had been once before and had a good experience. Cover charge was $8 and private dances were $20. There are three stages. The dancer does 2 songs on each stage. On thing I like about this is that if you like a dancer you can see her several times in a row instead of waiting for her to come around again. The disadvantage is that it makes it more difficult to get a private dance. After watching a few dancers I agreed to a private dance. Private dance area is a section with dimly lit "couch chairs". Very little privacy and constant monitoring by the bouncer. This didn't stop moderate contact though. My main complaint was that the dancer didn't indicate she was starting a new song, the first dance having started in the middle of a song I thought the dancer was combing into one. WRONG. She wanted $40 for a song and half. I agreed to pay her but then bailed. Not sure if this is common practice, as it didn't happen the one other time I visited the club.
