Went to Jaguars Gold Club for...

Went to Jaguars Gold Club for the first time on Saturday (Mar 6). Arrived around midnight. There was a $25 cover. The place was pretty busy. I couldn’t find a place to sit so I had to stand for awhile, which was okay because it gave me a chance to wander around and check things out.

The place is set up as one big square room with a large stage directly in front and two stages in the middle but slightly to the sides. There is a VIP section to the right behind a wall but there are windows so you can still see inside. The back of the place and the right side near the VIP are elevated slightly so you look down onto the main floor. There are booths on the elevated section alongside the VIP that were roped-off but nobody was sitting there. I assume there is an extra charge. Once you walk down the steps on the main floor there is bench-style seating around the perimeter. In the middle there are tables covered with white table clothes. Most guys sitting at the tables and along the perimeter had ice buckets for their beer. I didn’t see seating around any of the stages so if you want to tip you have to walk to the stage.

One section of the bench seating was partitioned-off for lap dances. You can easily watch the dances from the right side of the floor. I didn’t get any dances myself, but from what I could see, the quality was just so okay. Some girls gave nude dances, but others kept their g-string on. There seemed to be some grinding, but mostly a lot of standing up, changing positions, etc (which I hate). I prefer more contact. Hence I didn’t get any dances. I’m sure the VIP would be a little better, but at one point I snuck a peak through the windows and the girls seemed to be dancing about the same in there, so I kept my $30.
