Let me preface that I have not been to Big Earl's, but have been to LumberYard and Outer Limits. Of those 3, this is hands down the best club.

First, the club does have nice decor and ambience. It doesn't open until after 7pm, though, and that is a little weird (I guess this is a weird Des Moines thing.)

There are nice places to sit and they have sports on TV. They actually had the Winter Olympics on the tube on a Saturday night - at least the person running the TVs seems to have some sense about what sports might actually be of interest to folks (unlike the total fucking idiots at the Lumberyard.)
