I’m making extra-special effort to visit a lot of Detroit clubs before the new ordinance takes effect. Last visit was probably 8 years ago-before the fire, the human trafficking charges, etc.

I’m not too excited about the new layout. The high-backed booths don’t allow for scoping out the entire club. Seems fairly clean by SC standards…On Wednesday, the stage is taken over by a boxing ring (for the catfights at 10PM, which I didn’t stay around for). This forces the dancers to stay at either end of the stage- a really small area. This I really didn’t like. The VIP is opposite the bar, a row of small cubicles with plastic curtains. Pretty small, but adequate for the purpose…Service was kind of slow, and there weren’t that many customers-10 or so. $4.00 beer is pretty reasonable.

The dancers were, as I think has been pointed out in other reviews, black or mixed. A couple were too thick for my taste. A couple more should be selling insurance instead of dancing. However, I did visit the VIP with 2 different dancers that met my criteria for the day. LD’s were quite good. HJ was offered at the 2nd of my 2 visits to the VIP.

I may return, depending on that new ordinance date. There are so many other Detroit clubs to visit, however; I may run out of time.
