Back at Onyx last Friday. The parking lot was packed but most of that was people going to the club right beside Onyx, can't remember the name right now. You pull up, security checks your driver's license, ask if you have any guns in the car, ask you to pop your trunk, glove compartment and armrest compartment. This take a few minutes so then there are other cars behind you on the street waiting. When I FINALLY got in the place was about 3/4 full, about 25 percent female customers. Once again, I guess the dancers expect you to approach them for a dance. I saw maybe two worth approaching and sometimes I wonder if they are really trying to make money in here. I give the club a 7 because it looks good and it has a laid back vibe, pool tables, HDTV,etc. I give the dancers a 6 because I don't know if they are really trying to get paid. They just walk around, none of them really approach the customers unless they know you. I give the value rating a 6 because it's average, $10 laps and $25 VIP couch dances. I thought Charlotte was coming up but in my opinion these clubs are going back down.
