XTC has the potential to be the best club in Akron, but I don't think the management quite gets it. I stop by the joint every once in a while. Problem areas are as follows: #1 - in the past, it seemed like the girls never changed. I would see the same girls every time I went there. If I don't care for any of them, then I have no reason to return. They have recently changed the lineup and a few new girls are now working, but some of the old regular chicks are still around. #2 - the value of the VIP dances are just not worth it. They charge $20 per song, but the dance is not different from what you get in the regular seating area. Some girls might give you more, but that is rare. For the most part, the VIP dances feel rushed, and the end the dance feeling like you just wasted money. Avoid VIP - I don't care how cute the dancer looks, get your johnson in check and just say no. #3 - I have never felt like I want to return soon. Since the club is 18 and over, it attracts too many high school punks with the daddy's car who think they have gone to heaven. THis is especially bad on weekends and school holidays, so avoid those days if you don't like the teenage scene.
