I was in Club Fantasy on Friday, February 12. I wasn't having a particularly successful evening when

I clocked a girl in at about 11:45. I danced a couple of songs and then was walking her back to sit down on one of the couches in the TV room. All of a sudden she was no longer with me and I could see several uniformed LAPD cops directing the dancers, gestapo-like, toward the center of the room and roughly telling the customers to stand (I mean stand , not sit) aside. Then they funneled the

customers toward the front of the club, where we stood while a lady cop was barking orders out to everyone. Then we (the customers) were told that we had the option to leave, but we had to be out in three minutes. I took that opportunity. I assume the lady cop read the riot act to the dancers about their "behavior." This was, I assume, a bust. I don't know what the issue was or what the offshoot was. I wonder if dancer "behavior" has been changed for the worse (as far as the customers are concerned). I do know that they are still open because I called the next day. But I don't know how much the girls will be restricted from now on because I haven't been back since. This place is busted from time to time, and after some cooling off period goes back to business as usual. We can only hope that time will ease the restrictions on this occasion too. I don't know why the LAPD comes down so hard on these clubs. Can't they use their limited resources (becoming more limited all the time with budget cuts and layoffs) to fight real crime? The only good thing about the evening for me is that I got to leave without paying for my time with the girl.
