Somehow I keep finding myself back at the Sundowner on "Ass Wednesday," (dubbed by one of my co-workers). Returning to the states from the Toronto Car Show, I've learned not to get my expectations too high. While the Sundowner has spoiled me for every other club I've visited, I'm used to visiting with the highest expectations and on occasion, not having a memorable experience. This visit did not disappoint though. We arrived around 3:30 and while I saw a couple of the least attractive dancers I've seen in some time, there were definitely a few 8 - 10s floating around. A pleasant surprise for an afternoon visit. Usually the selection improves significantly around 7:00 - 8:00pm, but there generally seems to be a few hot dancers that like the afternoon shift. Praise the Lord! I've been to the Sundowner probably 25 times over the last 10 years and had some great and just OK visits. On Ash Wednesday (Ok - I'll be reverent for once), I probably had one of the best times I can remember. I managed to catch the girl on stage's attention when I arrive (Cheyenne) and while she looked almost too inocent, she gave me one of the best lap dances that I can remember. Very naughty. It took me awhile to realize the usual bouncers weren't patrolling the VIP rooms, which undoubtedly allowed customers & dancers to enjoy themselves a little more than usual. Fantastic time - can't wait to go back. Only down side was on my second round with Cheyene, she discovered someone had emptied her purse - terrible shame - she earned every $20. If you visit - she's definitely one of the best - tip her for me.
